Since opening last November, its customer base has continued to spread to the surrounding communities with new visitors arriving almost daily. All artists whose works are for sale at "Just Us Chickens" are required to volunteer at the shop at least seven hours (two shifts) per month, and they, in turn, receive 70% of the purchase price of each piece sold.
